Gentlemen:

I have not sent in my annual subscription to the Museum because I have been hoping to be able to continue my membership. Things have been breaking in such a way, however, that I find it impossible to do so, and I hereby resign my membership.

I suspect there are others in the same condition, but I hope not enough of them to seriously impair the valuable work of the Museum.
